How to get CDC to work on Mac OS X? OK, so Windows comes with built-in support for the CDC USB devices, so when we build our Microchip demo code it all works great on Windows. But what about Macs? I've done some reading, and some playing, and it seems that the Microchip USB CDC demo is recognized as a USB device, but no serial port accessable from applications is actually created. Is there a driver or some other piece of software available that could do this? Does anyone know anything about CDC access on Macs?
